Q. Can we bring our own food and/or drinks to Elmar’s?

A. Elmar’s is a fully licensed venue, therefore no BYO food or beverage is allowed.

Q. Can we bring nibblies and have a picnic at Elmar’s?

A. No BYO food or beverage is allowed at Elmar’s in the Valley, but you are more than welcome to bring your own picnic blanket and chairs and sit out in the beer garden.

Q. Do you offer takeaway food?

A. Dining is only available on site, there are no takeaway facilities offered.

Q. Can we bring our own cake to celebrate a birthday?

A. You may bring your own cake provided that guests have dined on a substantial meal in the restaurant. However, please note that there is a $2.50 per person cakeage fee for all BYO cakes.

Q. Can you provide a cake for us?

A. Yes, please view our cake list, which has a variety of delicious cakes to choose from. Cakes must be ordered a minimum of 3 working days prior to booking date, and must be paid for in advance. When you are in the restaurant for your special occasion, please advise and allow 15 – 20 minutes notice before you wish the cake to be served.

If you are budget conscious, you can order a dessert from our menu and one of our friendly staff members can place a token candle for you to help celebrate the special occasion.

Q. Is a booking required to have a meal in the restaurant?

A. Bookings are highly recommended, especially on weekends, to avoid disappointment.

Q. Are children welcome at Elmar’s in the Valley?

A. Yes, children are more than welcome at Elmar’s in the Valley – there is a dedicated children’s menu and a children’s playground, as well as plenty of room for the kids to run around and play in the beer garden. Please note, for the comfort of other guests children are to remain seated whilst in the restaurant, and must be supervised at all times whilst playing outside in the beer garden.

Q. Are any of your meals gluten free?

A. Yes! 99% of all Elmar’s smallgoods are gluten free, except for one; the Coarse Pork Bratwurst (which is soaked in beer). All of Elmar’s smallgoods are also free of preservatives and artificial colours and flavours. A large range of options on the menu are also gluten free, or can be made gluten free for you – these items are all marked on the menu, or just ask one of our friendly waitstaff.

Q. Do you sell wine at Elmar’s in the Valley?

A. Yes, along with the range of award winning Elmar’s beers, we also offer a large range of local Swan Valley wines. Our beverage menu also includes a range of Australian and European spirits and cocktails, as well as soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea.

Q. Is there disabled access at Elmar’s?

A. Yes – Elmar’s has a number of dedicated Disabled car parking bays, as well as disabled bathroom facilities and no stairs.

Q. Is Elmar’s bicycle friendly?

A. Yes – there are 18 bike racks located on the left hand side of the restaurant building. Cyclists visiting Elmar’s are permitted to wear their cycling clothing inside the venue.

Q. Is there WiFi at Elmar’s in the Valley?

A. Yes. Free WiFi operates under a social WiFi system. This means guests need to log into selected social media accounts, such as Facebook or Instagram, to access the network. You can even access it in the beer garden! Ask our friendly staff for instructions on accessing WiFi at Elmar’s in the Valley.

Q. Do you cater for groups and/or functions?

A. Yes, we offer functions, beer talks and bookings for tour groups looking for things to do in the Swan Valley. We are also a top Swan Valley function venue, contact us for more details.
